Simple and Easy Corn Upma Recipe

Corn is a good source of the vitamin folate that supports cardiovascular health and significantly reduces the risk of neural tube birth defects. Corn contributes thiamin (vitamin B1) that helps the body cells convert carbohydrates into energy. It is also essential for the proper functioning of the heart, muscles and nervous system.

1. Corn
2. Onion slices
3. Mustard seeds
4. Cumin seeds
5. Curry leaves
6. Ginger garlic paste
7. Coriander Leaves
8. Green Chilly
9. Lemon
10. Salt to taste
11. Olive oil

Step 1:
Take two sweet corns.

Step 2:
Add corn seeds in to a mixer jar.

Step 3:
Blend the corn seeds to half mash as shown in the picture below.

Step 4:
1. Heat pan and add one spoon of olive oil.
2. When oil is hot then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds.
3. Add two green chillies, some curry leaves and slightly fry them.
4. Add half spoon of ginger garlic paste to it.
5. Add onion slices and cook it for 2 mins.

Step 5:
1. Add blended corn seeds to it.
2. Cook it for 5 more mins and add salt to taste.

Step 6:
Garnish with coriander leaves and add lemon juice to it while eating.
